To support the provision of sustained and reliable access to water for remote and vulnerable populations to improve community health, hygiene, and sanitation, promote gender equity, sustainable farming practices and agroforestry.
Appian Water works with communities to invest in clean water access. Our holistic program design is structured to empower communities through autonomy and asset ownership, while bolstering up their success through training, education and support.
More than 2.2 billion people lack safe access to water, and more than 4 billion lack basic sanitation. Through education, hands on technical assistance, investment and global partnerships, we mean to be active contributors to changing that.

About Appian
Beginning in 2014 with Friends of East Indonesia, a growing partnership of social-entrepreneurs, academics, educators, engineers, business professionals and public health experts have formed to create, design, invest, and implement holistic solutions for providing water access to vulnerable populations. Starting first with projects in Eastern Indonesia, the mission is to expand this partnership and services to any and all regions of the world in need.
